Apprentices
4 Year Apprenticeship Program Benefits
Earn great pay and benefits while you learn the trade including:
- Regular wage increases every 6 months after the first year
- Health Insurance after the initiation period (usually 6 months depending on hours)
- Paid residence reimbursement if you qualify through the GI Bill paid from the VA
- One on one, on the job instruction with trained journey persons as well as class time and hands on training with our full time instructor
Once you have completed your apprenticeship then:
- You will be free to choose to select a different company to work for without a seniority stipulation.
- Average yearly salary minus benefits $80,000
- 4 weeks of paid vacation and a once a year holiday check
- You will also be able to transfer your union card to any other Glazier Local Union in the US and Canada
- Retirement benefits paid both monthly and as a lump sum (401K)
- Average monthly retirement benefit $6,000 after 30 years of steady employment which will continue upon death to your spouse

Craftsmanship starts with training—and our members receive the best in the industry.
Our state-of-the-art Training Center is where new apprentices and experienced glaziers alike sharpen their skills, learn the latest techniques, and stay up to date on safety standards and industry innovations. From curtain wall systems to architectural glass, our hands-on instruction prepares our members to meet the highest standards on every job site.
Led by experienced instructors and backed by union values, our training isn’t just about learning—it’s about building lifelong careers.
