Wreaths Across America has a simple mission: Remember the fallen, Honor those that serve, and Teach the next generation about the value of freedom. Founded in 2007, the Worcester family along with veterans and volunteers formed a non-profit organization and expanded the program throughout the country.
Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery joined the program in 2010 and continues to grow each year with the support of donors and volunteers honoring the veterans at rest on the hallowed grounds. This year National Wreaths Across America day will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025, beginning with a ceremony at 11 A. M. Followed by placement of wreaths at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery where approximately 200,000 local veterans are laid to rest. This is open to anyone who would like to attend. Our support is needed to help make these efforts go further to honor more veterans, as well as provide small thank you gift bags to the volunteer truckers who donate their time, trucks and fuel to bring the wreaths to JBNC.
If you are able, we’d love it if you can make a donation to the organization to help achieve their mission. We also can use people to help unload trucks as they arrive from Maine and on the day of the event, we can use people to hand out the Wreaths and traffic control inside Jefferson Barracks.
